Today we’d like to introduce you to Robb and Tyler Fahrion.
The Flying V Group started when brothers Robb and Tyler believed they could do their best work servicing clients on their own. Robb previously worked as Director of Marketing at Security First Corp., a software tech start-up, and Tyler at Deloitte as a Certified Public Accountant and Audit Associate. Becoming more and more frustrated with their current situations, the Fahrion brothers decided to put their heads together and start their own business.
With Robb noticing that large marketing agencies could not provide an amazing level of customer service and attentiveness to small-to-medium sized businesses, and freelancers could not handle the workloads of these sized businesses, he believed there was a hole in the internet marketing industry. So, Robb and Tyler started the Flying V Group to provide amazing customer service, attentiveness, lifelong partnerships, and side-by-side business relationships with small-to-medium sized businesses and their owners. The Flying V Group aims to become the supplemental marketing department for businesses that might not have the wherewithal to hire staff of their own.
The brothers’ penchant for all things technical led them to a focus on the internet side of the marketing industry. Their specialties lie in website design, search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising management, mobile application development, and social media marketing services. Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
For the most part the road has been smooth, but the extreme growth of the business has caused some hardships along the way. When we started the business, we knew that there was going to be a lot of work to do, but we never anticipated how quickly the workload adds up. We do everything in house so when you are handling the legal work, accounting work, marketing work, and sales work, things can get quite interesting. However, we love the challenge and like the old saying goes, “Better to be too busy than not busy at all.”

We are mostly known for our SEO and PPC Advertising work since we have had such great success generating business for our clients using these two avenues of marketing and advertising.
We are most proud of helping businesses turn it around and giving them the exposure that they deserve. We are very particular in who we work with and we want to make sure that our clients align with our values. We value dedication, working towards a common goal, and persistence during tough or hard times. We are a step above the rest because we actually care about making our clients successful and not just the bottom line.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
The proudest moment of our careers so far would have to be working with a large, San Francisco based tech company. We cannot disclose of the name of the company due to confidentiality reasons, but let’s just say we never would have anticipated sitting in this company’s offices when we started the business two years. We value every client the same, but this was a really cool moment for us.
